In March of 2010, the Montgomery County Animal Rescue in Red Oak started their Spay Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP). In 2011, People for Paws in Shenandoah has joined forces with to battle our area’s pet overpopulation problem. By combining our efforts we will increase the value of our SNAP certificates and offer residents of Adams, Cass, Fremont, Mills, Montgomery and Page a discount for spay neuter surgeries at participating veterinary clinic.

We will be issuing SNAP certificates to people who need help to alter their pets. Applications for these certificates will be available upon request or online at
http://www.adoptourdogs.com/5401.html. All certificates and payments will be made through the Montgomery County Animal Rescue in Red Oak.

If you have questions, please contact Jan Black with Montgomery County Animal Rescue at 712-370-0336 or Linda Hoefing with People for Paws at 712-246-3236.

Anyone wishing to donate to the fund may contact either rescue. All designated donations are tax deductable and
will be used to support SNAP.
